About Persuading Teachers to use Technology

In the Age where Science and Technologie are constanly changes it
is inevitable to distance oneself from them.
Still there are a view people in Suriname, in particular Teachers who avoid using technologie in their teching. This, for verious reasons such as: Technology is complicated, Technology is not save, Technology is expansive, technology is constantly changing, technology is to much information, Technology is taking over our social life etc.

Although there is a certain amount of truth in the arguments mentions above it obvious that there are more bennefits then disadvantages. e.g.

- Using devices like Tablets, smartphones in classrooms we can research just about
   anything that we want more easy any where any time as soon as you have internet
   access.
- It is much easier to explain even complex theorie by visualising using a laptop and
  beamer. Especially Visual learners will bennifit from that.
- There are many tools to help make learning easy. e.g. by using educational games,
  learning will be much  more attractive to our students.
- In our interrrior kids often lack excess to (higher) education. with the use of some simple
  ICT tools like Skype and the use the 3G network, we can create a simple Distance learning
  class for groups.
- By investing in a Student Follow System in our schools we can track students results and

  progress much easier then with a paper database.
 - Testing kids our skills could be tested much easier with the use of ICT tools like Socrative, Kahoot etc.
